The events listed below include immersive scare experiences, scare mazes, and spooky outdoor cinemas, meaning there’s something for everyone!

Scarefest Alton Towers 

Scarefest at Alton Towers is running until the 3rd November, and features Halloween-themed attractions and immersive live events throughout both day and night. There are some new events lined up for 2024 at Alton Towers Scarefest, including Amigos in the Afterlife, and Compound Scare Maze, which is described as an intense and disorientating scientific nightmare...

Newsham Scream Park

Newsham Scream Park in Liverpool is returning with more scare mazes than ever before. The event includes not only an array of themed mazes, but a Horror Selfie Museum, street entertainment, stage acts, and live music, plus a large food court and licensed bar, making it a night out to remember. The attraction line up this year includes ‘The Priest Hood’, ‘Humanimal’, ‘The Mortuary’ and ‘Under The Bed’.

Scare City Experience

Located in the North West, this spooky experience combines detailed set design and live actors throughout ten different zones. It’s located in an abandoned theme park, elevating the scare experience to a level you won’t find elsewhere in the UK, and making it a standout choice for any horror fan in the North. Last year, Scare City also won ScareTrack’s award for ‘Best Scare Attraction for Halloween’.

Scare Maze, Walsall

Walsall Scare Maze is an award winning scare maze based in the West Midlands. It features an immersive scare experience with intense horror-themed storylines. This year, the main attraction at this event is called ‘The Haunting of Amelia Birchill’, which has a haunting storyline of demonic spirits, murder, and séances.

York Maze Hallowscream

Hallowscream is based at York Maze and features five separate live-action haunts with over 100 actors. Roaming characters and stage shows also keep you on your toes throughout the evening; there’s truly no rest for the wicked. Food, drinks, and merchandise is also on offer throughout the event, making it a truly immersive experience in multiple ways, and a great opportunity to makes some spooky memories with friends.

The Village Screen Halloween Pop Up at Peak Cavern

Located in Castleton, this event is great for horror movie lovers. The Village Screen is an outdoor cinema hosted in a real cave in the heart of the beautiful Peak District. It offers a unique viewing experience for some of the best-loved horror and Halloween films, making it the perfect evening out for both families and friends.
