When are they making Stranger Things Season 5?

If you’ve not been keeping an eye on Netflix Tudum or even just social media, you may not know that the filming of Volume 5 is well underway. After a long season of writing last year, the Duffer Brothers began directing and filming the final series in January.

Which cast members are returning for Stranger Things Season 5?

Ross Duffer has been teasing fans on Instagram with regular, first-hand updates from the set of Stranger Things. Posts feature some of our favourite cast members, including David Harbour (Jim Hopper), Sadie Sink (Max Mayfield), the recently married Millie Bobbie-Brown (Eleven), and Natalia Dyer (Nancy Wheeler).

Is Eddie Munson returning for Stranger Things Season 5?

There are many conspiracies online as to whether deceased characters such as Joseph Quinn’s 'Eddie Munson', or Matthew Modine’s 'Papa' will return for the finale, however, this is not currently confirmed. Duffer is sure to give no spoilers with his vague photo-dumps.

New cast members were also confirmed at the Netflix Tudum event, including the iconic American action and horror actor, Linda Hamilton, who starred in ‘The Terminator’ franchise as Sarah Connor, and ‘Children Of The Corn’, a classic 80’s horror film based on a Stephen King novel.

What is the first episode of Stranger Things Season 5 called?

Stranger Things Day 2022 delivered the announcement of the first episode's title. Separated into chapters, in true Duffer style, the first episode of Stranger Things Season 5 is called ‘Chapter One: The Crawl’.

When does Stranger Things Season 5 release?

In a recent episode of the podcast series, Podcrushed, Maya Hawke described the episodes of the final season to be "more like eight movies". However, so far, we don’t know much else about the series, or the date of its release, although we can be certain it’ll be the most exciting season yet.
